As the sun sets on another incredible year at Kern River’s Edge Campground, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every guest who joined us in 2025. Whether you were here for your annual family tradition, a first-time Kern River rafting trip, or a peaceful escape under the stars, you are what makes our campground a community.

Reflecting on a Beautiful 2025

This past season was filled with the sounds of laughter by the riverside, the smell of crackling campfires, and the shared joy of outdoor adventure.  We loved seeing you unplug and reconnect through on-site games like sand volleyball, giant Jenga, and corn hole.  Our "Campers-who-Care" truly impressed us this year with your dedication to keeping our park and the surrounding Sequoia National Forest pristine.  Thank you for caring.

Calm Your Mind: Set Intentions for 2026

New Year’s is a time for reflection and renewal. The Kern River's Edge Campground provides the ideal setting to foster mindfulness.

The simple act of staring into a campfire is profoundly hypnotic and mesmerizing, offering a unique form of calming therapy. Who couldn't use some time for calm?

Take this opportunity to be unplugged from the constant digital distraction. Let your mind quiet down so you can focus on setting intentions and goals for 2026. Make your focus health and outdoor experiences—goals that will genuinely nourish your soul throughout the year.

🌿 Preserving the Kern for Future Generation

At Kern River’s Edge, we believe we are stewards of this land. To ensure the Kern River remains a sanctuary for years to come, we invite you to join us in practicing responsible recreation:

  • Leave No Trace: Always pack out what you pack in. Be particularly mindful of "micro-trash"—small items like bottle caps and wrappers that can harm local wildlife.

  • Glass-Free Zone: To protect our guests and the environment, please remember that we are a glass-free park. Use reusable plastic or metal containers instead.

  • Water Conservation: As a high-desert park, every drop counts. We encourage guests to use water conservatively while enjoying our clean, modern facilities.

  • Respect the River: The Kern is powerful and beautiful. We always recommend wearing life jackets and following river safety protocols to keep our community safe.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Kern in 2026 for more fishing, hiking, and starlit nights.

Happy Trails and See You Soon! The Kern River’s Edge Team
